Dearest Doves,After reading about the devalued dollar, and rising inflation, my aunt wanted to buy some gold coins to protect her retirement savings from many, many years of hard work, taking 2 buses a day to and from work every day. Since she doesn't have a computer, she wanted me to buy them for her, and what seemed like a good deal was listed on eBay. Long story short, she ended up being ripped off for $16,000. The guy has pulled this same scam I discovered two others with watches to the tune of over $100,000 between two other buyers. We have turned this over the police, and the FBI and even Interpol may need to get involved as he probably is in another country. eBay shut him down. Please pray for this thief to be caught, and her money returned. She, being a baby Christian is completely trusting God, (isn't that awesome!) while I on the other hand (although I trust the Lord in all things) have been a mess--stressed out to the point of being sick. I feel so guilty for not knowing the difference between an actual site and one that has been stolen, and still don't. First time I ever had a problem on eBay.We know that God can do ALL things, so please pray that he/they will be caught and her hard-earned money returned to her. I think anyone who steals from a 91 yr old widow is the lowest form of life.Thank you for agreeing with me in prayer for her. I sure don't want this or anything to shake her faith.Kay
