"Michael Steele becomes first black RNC chairman"

Dear friends:

The Republican Party chose the first black national chairman in its history Friday -- former Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael Steele.  See http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/republicans.

Steele is a great guy.  I have always liked him a lot.  Very bright, articulate, and usually on the right side of the issues. It was a great choice for the GOP.

Steele is a Catholic, and attended seminary for three years.  I believe he has a biblical view on the major issues.

I see Michael Steele as a future Presidential candidate, and one I could vote for.
