"How much is a multitude?"

Hi John and Doves….Been reading the posts for a few months. I wanna go home to be with the LORD.  Hope the rapture IS soon. Today would

be fine with me, not that God seeks my approval on anything, lol.     Anyway….

I find it interesting that in Revelation that the number of the beasts and the elders around the throne is given in detail:

10,000 times 10,000, thousands and thousands. That is more than 100 million beings, at least in the math that I was taught.

The number of the army from the east is given : 200 million. ( I did the math calculation, lol). Now, here’s what I find interesting:

The Bible is very explicit about  numbers because of the significance of numbers. But, in a book where huge numbers (hundreds

of millions in Revelation) are given and the ability to count them is also there, John  CAN’T  tell us how much a  multitude (the saints that were martyred

in the tribulation) is. In fact he says its such a large number, that NO ONE can count them. So, why am I musing these things?

Glad ya asked. ENCOURAGEMENT!!!! Please read on.

I personally know of very few people who asked Jesus into their lives when times were good. In fact, most (me too)

were basically at the end of their ropes in some way(addictions, health, finances, etc). HE was the life ring when we were going down for the third time.

For lots of people it takes hard times for us to call out to God. Jesus said its easier for a camel to go thru the eye of the needle,

than for a rich man (read: things going good) to enter  heaven. Does God love us

enough that HE would take away a  mans possessions to call him to salvation? Would HE use wars?

Would HE use natural disasters? Uh huh. Yup. You betcha. Durn strait HE would. And don’t read into this

that I don’t know that its HIS kindness that brings us to repentance, but HE’LL use any means HE needs

to accomplish HIS kind will, including tough love (tribulation). HIS ways are NOT our ways.

.OK. All that said, I’ve taken encouragement that during the tribulation,  a huge number  that no one can count

(so I surmise its greater than 200 million plus 100 million, HOPEFULLY BILLIONS) will be saved.

That includes my family members and friends that just wont listen now , because times are still (compared to the trib) good.

God in HIS grace and mercy, will be using the worst time mankind has ever seen, to call people to HIM. I wouldn’t wish the tribulation

on anybody, BUT as bad as it will be, it still beats an eternity in hell, and that’s what God desires, that NONE should perish.

And keep in mind HE wont put anybody through anything, including tribulation and death, that they cant handle.

HE isn’t using the tribulation to just  pour out HIS wrath

and judgements, HE’s also using it to draw people to HIM. God always gives us hope. HE is so great. This was meant to

be an encouragement, I just haven’t learned softness of speech yet, lol, so PLEASE take it that way.
