"For Paul Wilson, Apocrypha & Pseudepigrapha"

Joshua 10:
13.  And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher?

2 Samuel 1:
 17.  And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son:
 18.  (Also he bade them teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher.)

The Book of Jasher tells the same stories as the Old Testament but with more details and is very interesting.

My favorites are 1 Enoch and 2 Esdras. These can be found on line:

"Make public the twenty-four books that you wrote first, and let the worthy and the unworthy read them; but keep the seventy that were written last, in order to give them to the wise among your people." (2 Esdras 14:45–46 RSV)

I believe this refers to the portion of Ezra's writings that we now call Apocryphal and I believe that you are wise if you read it.
