To Lester and all who read, in love may I point out a verse from Daniel ch 10 which makes a valuable and powerful point regarding Michael .  This verse also gives a solid basis to absolutely refute a  teaching of the Jehovah's Witnesses which denies the divinity of the LORD Jesus by attributing his heavenly identity as Michael.  Verse 13 reads:

 

 " But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia."  Dan. 10.13  KJV

 

This verse clearly puts Michael in the company of other " chief princes" whatever they are, very powerful angels sent by GOD to perform His will in world affairs at a global level.  Jesus stands alone and separate from them , and  He was present at creation thus He cannot be a created being but part of the triune  Creator.

 

The prince / princes of Persia are busy again, as Iran's leaders are evidently  preparing to follow through on plans perhaps dating back to the time of Daniel to destroy GOD's chosen people.  May GOD help us all.  HE will.  Michael may be called in again but any conflict in which he will participate will be penultimate to the return of the Lion of the tribe of Judah to earth, hopefully accompanied by many of us.
