"The Lord's Perfect Timing - Rapture in January?"

This Christmas marked a first for me, being celebrated without a Christmas tree.  But as 2007 is drawing to a close, I went to Shelby Corbitt's site (www.2007rapture.com) to see if there were any updates for the last day of the year.  No, they were not swimming in the swimming pool yesterday.  Still, technically, it could be argued that the Julian calendar year of 2007 does not expire till Sunday, December 31, 2007 Julian, which is the First Day of the Week, Sunday, January 13, 2008 Gregorian.

That would also put the Julian Christmas (Dec 25th) on January 7th, (Gregorian).  And not to discount the 12 days of Christmas starting on our December 25th would end on January 5th, (Gregorian).

If we look past January 13, 2008, we are definately into the first month of 2008 no matter which calendar, Julian or Gregorian.  Still, January is the first month and there are so many parallels and analogies to the "first" and "firstfruits" in watching the various signs in the Rapture timing.  Why not the first month of our calendar?

Which brings up January 23, 2008 which I had posted on last month.  Consider all the parallels to other significant January 23rds:

January 23, 1950 - Official date that Jerusalem was declared the Capital of Israel (by the Knesset)
January 23, 1997 - For the first time since 1475, the heavens briefly lined up in a perfect six-pointed star -- a galactic Star of David
January 23, 1999 - Largest Gamma-Ray Burst Yet Found (Beamed at Earth)

And taking and paraphrased from my previous post:  http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/dec2007/tedp1210.htm

The first time Jesus came as a Man to take the full penalty for our sin during His passion, He remained hidden from man in the womb for seven periods of 40 days or 280 days, (40 standing for trials and tribulations) before He revealed Himself.  The second time He will come first in Power for His Bride in the Rapture.  Then He will remain hidden in Heaven with His bride for, it is believed at least seven periods of either prophetic or solar years marked as the tribulation.  He will then come again in Glory with His Bride to establish His millennial kingdom.

One can look at adding this seven periods of 40 days or 280 days onto the seven periods of 360 days of the tribulation.  Or one can look at a ten-fold increase of days staying hidden from seven periods of 40 days to seven periods of 400 days.  The math works out the same.  So subtracting seven periods of 400 days from the return date of Jesus Christ in Glory to establish HIs millennial kingdom would give us a good Rapture watch date.  Using September 23, 2015 as proposed in the book, "Passion, Power, & Glory - Watching for the Return of the Prince of Peace" for the Glorious Second Coming of Christ, and then subtracting seven periods of 400 days yields:

9/23/2015 - (7 x 400) = 1/23/2008

As easy as 123?  Those who watch shall see.

I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.  Habakkuk 2:1
