I am a silent, LONG-TIME reader of 5 Doves. I've been reading here since about 1995 or thereafter.  I am a simple/child-like person of faith, and am often very intimidated by all the in-depth studies of dates, Scripture interpretations, etc that I read here.  Therefore, I have always chosen to simply read and be still, taking to God those things I question, or feel are off the mark. God always fills me with the understanding to look up to Him, for He will reveal to me those things He needs me to know, the rest He has asked me to walk out in faith.
 
However, I believe the time has come fo me to share a very beautiful and simple story. I am in complete awe over this as I know how many others are reporting similiar stories!.
 
My daughter called me today.  "Mom, I have to tell you what Skylar said!"  Skylar is my 2-year old grand daughter who is just now beginning to put sentences together.  "Mom, we were coming back from the doctors office where she had to get a shot!  She was doing well for having just gone through such turmoil for a 2-year old. I had on the most awesome praise CD, and I was singing.  Skylar was watching me from her carseat.  I noticed her so I turned the music down.  "I'm singing to Jesus!" I explained to her.  "Do you love Jesus?"  She shook her head yes and said, "He's coming!!" Amy then said, "He's coming?" And she shook her head yes. Amy couldn't resist,  "Who's coming?"  She then said the name of child-hood friend of hers as Amy had lost her attention span, but Amy swears as clear as a bell it was as if she KNEW, Jesus is coming!  Pretty impresive for a 2-year old!!!
 
My daughter was raised in the beliefs that end times are among us, but she never really took it too serious.  She and her husband have never talked about it, so there was no way Skylar could could have overheard them talking.

I suddenly realize that God is truly preparing the children for that of which is to come.  I knew I had read stories of other children saying similiar things, which I never doubted for a moment   But this time, it is MY own grand daughthr announcing it!  "He's coming." Short, sweet, and to the point.  Sort of how God whispers to me when He is preparing me for things to come.
