Dear John, TJ, Doves and Pineman,
Thank you John, TJ, Daniel and Marilyn Agee for the mathematical side of the finer details regarding the season of the Rapture.
Pineman, I agree that the thesis of 2550 days can be accounted for from Trumpets 2008 to Atonement 2015.
This question is addressed to Daniel and TJ and any one of the Doves that can put some light on the subject.
The Bible states that the Great Tribulation is 1260 days, 42 month or a time, times and half a time long, being Biblical months (30 days).
That will be from the midpoint of the 'week' so it is understandable that the first part of the 'week' will also be 1260 days.
So 1260 + 1260 = 2520 days for the total duration of the 70th week of Daniel, if I'm correct.
So to equate the 2550 days to be the length of the whole 'week' in Daniel doesn't add up.
I do believe that the extra 30 days does indeed have a prophetic function otherwise the LORD would not have put it there. Just maybe the extra 30 days could equate for a leap year and thereby adding and extra month, the month of Adar II, also called in Hebrew Adar Sheni (Second Adar). Now by determining the year of the extra month does narrow the timeline abit.
But Dear Doves I do not have the info to calculate that thought. Maybe some could assist.
The other thing is that Pineman has touched on is that the Rapture might happen before the feast of Trumpets.
So with that thought in mind, TJ, Daniel and John, could you do the same calculation from the Feast of First Fruits, where it is stated in Leviticus 23:5-6, where the LORD said unto Moses that "In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD's Passover. And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread."
Notice that the LORD said that the month in which the Passover is eaten will be the first month, and that according to verse 24 of the same Chapter it is mentioned that the Feast of Trumpets will be in the seventh month and not the ninth month which is according to modern day calendars.
Also note that in the time of the Temples there was the observable calender in which they were waiting for the Barely to be ripening (aviv) and the following is taken from Wikipedia.org.
“Historically, "Aviv" meant the stage in the growth of grain when the seeds have reached full size and are filling with starch, but have not dried yet. During the plague of hail (Exodus 9:31), the barley was aviv and the flax was giv`ol.”
I believe that the calendar given by YHWH to Moses should be the one that is of importance due to the fact that HE will lay down HIS life for mankind on the exact same day in the furture.
With all do respect, to follow the Civil or Religeous calendar to pin point a prophetic season on a Biblical timeline and disregard the reason for the establishing of the Feasts of the LORD just doesn’t make sense.
Does anyone have some insight on the 1335 days that is mentioned in Daniel 12:12?
Much Grace
