Already we can visualize the scenario of the Rider on the Red Horse with a pair of scales doling out food for an exorbitant price. Nothing seems to be bright for the year 2008. Stock market is pretty shaky, the weather is dismal. We had drought all across Australia, and then the heavens opened up and now most people are left facing the rising tide of water. It never rains but pours!!!

It is so depressing when you look around. Most people, on the other hand, are just waltzing along and not noticing that anything is amiss. Al l that they can talk about is their recent holidays and the new cars and the houses. They simply fail to see the signs. You see so many new cases of cancer everywhere. My front door neighbour (Arthur) is having cancer of the lungs, and my next door neighbour(Lesly) has been having cancer for the last 12 yrs. Now it has gone to her liver and ribs. I tried to reach out to her, but it is so hard. I have even given her a DVD of the movie Left Behind I, some tracts, a Daily Bread booklet etc. Please pray that we would be able to reach out to these two people before it is too late.

Even so come Lord Jesus!
