I don’t claim to know all the answers to your daughter, Sarah’s problem, but when I read your email re: the 2 Hindu children I felt I need to let you know some facts.  In fact from the time you have been posting re: Sarah’s illness I have been following and praying for her, but I felt I had no right to jump in with my view, until you yourself has raised this point; quote “ This is really mystery to me.. Is it because I witnessed and led those 2 Hindu children to Jesus just before she came down with ALL this stuff? I don't know what's going on..” end quote.
 

 

Since I come from a Hindu background, I mean, when I say Hindu background, I mean all  my ancestors were Hindus and that was what I was until ’92, I feel that I can shed some light and hopefully be some help to your knotty problem.  I would very much like to know whether the parents are aware of the fact that you have led them to the Lord, and also whether they objected to the fact that you shared it with them and further are the two children still following the Lord?  Even otherwise, Satan does not like you to step into his territory.  Sometimes people in the Western culture unknowingly take this spiritual warfare very, very lightly.  I mean it.  It is a very tough battle of light against darkness.  Do you realise if these kids are raptured the chances are that the parents too will follow the Lord afterwards, and  that would become a ripple effect?  The ramification of trying to convert someone from an another religion is really something that we cannot comprehend.  I know all about it – believe me!

 

When I came to the Lord, that night,  8^th May 1992, I slept well after exactly a month of sleep deprived nights- I separated on the 7^th April. Couple of my friends and a pastor came an cleansed our house and prayed over us and converted us.  Even as they were converting me I had a very, very sharp pain on my right hand- never had that before. Subsequently with prayer it went off.  They asked us to get rid of the idols and clean the prayer room, and we complied by dumping them in the shed.  We converted on Friday and the following Monday I went and  dumped all the idols in the garbage bin, and that night I was horribly attacked.  For the first time in my life I knew what real fear was.  I have lived through bombing, army check points, etc, etc, but this was more than I could handle.  I was shaking like a leaf for I was terrified of taking a shower in the bathroom.  I could see some ugly clawed hands trying to rip my throat.  Mind you, I never believed in ghosts. We could not afford to, for we used to go night hunting when we were young with my father J.  I was so shaken that Mum had to call our friends to come and pray over me.  Further both my hands were in excruciating pain for no reason. It was because I made the terrible mistake of bringing in some note books, without dumping them in the garbage, which had some notes on astrology, into the house. I had ripped off the notes on astrology and it only had nice, clean blank pages in the book. My father and I pursued astrology as a hobby.  I had put them in a bookshelf in my son’s room, and when Mum went into the room, after our friends had arrived the whole lot of books were strewn in a semi-circle form on the floor along with the offending book- as if some hand had pulled it down.  It was so neat!!! Can you explain all these?  We had problem after converting for almost a month, until we were baptized exactly a month later.  Then only we felt peace in our hearts and courage to fight the demons.  But even now we do get attacked; for my 2 brothers are still Hindus and my ex is a strong Hindu, and whenever they feel irritation towards us they pray against us and this affects us a lot. 

 

Further  when you try to preach the Word or evangelise you do get attacked badly.  We know it from experience.  Every time we try to send a Bible or a End Times video or something to our relatives and friends, our car gets bashed around, through no fault of ours or we fall violently sick.  Satan has the ability to do that or mimic the illness your enemies have without too much trouble.  Last year I had a cyst in my mouth, which was the result of tripping and falling on the washing machine 6 yrs ago.  The point is, my ex after waiting for me for 5 yrs, got married again, and the Lord has given him a son with a cleft palate.  Here I had this cyst in my mouth and all the experts believed it was malignant, but the Lord was good- it turned out to be benign.  So you see enemy has the ability  to mimic things.  Further I had to get out of my marriage because of in-law problems, and they had the ability to make me lose weight and I became anorexic and all the doctors could not find what was wrong with me.  In ’84 I nearly submitted myself to a gall bladder operation, when I did not have the problem, but the pain, the symptoms and all fooled many a doctors.  They simply could not find what was wrong with me.  I was only 25yrs, thin as a rake and a few of my uncles, who were doctors refused to let me undergo the OP.  They took a dozen or more X-rays and there was no evidence to suggest that there was something the matter with me.  Eventually my life was in danger, because of the dowry my parents gave me, my in-laws wanted me out of the way permanently, and I was forced to go for a divorce and turned to the Lord at the same time.  That does not mean our spiritual warfare are over- it never stops, it is relentless.  I cannot wait to be with the Lord!

 

So you see, it is not a small things to reach out to unbelievers, especially from an another cult.  Your daughter may be getting attacked by the enemy.  We will all pray for her, but you can pray and fast for her, especially on a Friday.  Friday is a special day for the Hindus and you can try and see. Just skip your breakfast with only a cup of coffee until you have your lunch.  If you have a good pastor, please ask him to come and cleanse the house and pray over your daughter after giving him some info.  Further please, please don’t accept any food that the family may send to you all when they have their special festivals. They always offer it to the idols before sharing it with others.  They do not realise that they are bowing down to the demons, but it can have drastic effect on you and Sarah. Further search around the house and see whether you have anything that remotely looks occultic in the house, which they may have given it to you- of course with good intentions.  Bangles, chains, amulets or anything Sarah may be wearing or in her room or anything that smacks Indian, pray and get rid of it. 

 

Stephanie, you can say this prayer over Sarah, which you may already be familiar with....

 

Dear Lord, we come to you and offer up Sarah to you.  We are your children if the enemy is attacking Sarah we come to you for refuge.  Lord, we plead Your precious blood over Sarah, and ask for your healing touch over her.  If there is any charms, witchery, sorcery, coming against Sarah we ask you to contend with those who contend with her Lord.  We have little strength against the enemy but with you all things are possible.  In Jesus Name we ask all this.  Amen.
