Now Israel has to really worry....

In Ezekiel 38-39 countries like Syria, Jordan, Egypt,  Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine are quite conspicuous by their absence. Hence we have to come to the conclusion that these countries are sort of crippled or obliterated from the map.  In fact the destruction of Damascus is pretty clearly stated in Isaiah 17.  This war has to precede the Russian invasion.

Syria FM says ready for peace talks with Israel

 
Muallem says Damascus does not wish for military solution for Israeli occupation.

 DUBAI - Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem said Damascus was ready to relaunch peace talks with Israel and rejected suggestions of a "military solution", according to comments broadcast on Wednesday.

"We are ready to restart peace negotiations on the Syrian peace track and are not opposed to progress along the Palestinian track," Muallem said in an interview, according to extracts broadcast by Arabic television station Al-Arabiya.

The statement comes as US President George W. Bush arrived in Israel.

"We do not wish for a military solution for Israel," Muallem said.
