Hi John and Doves,

Sincere prayer is still alive in at least one of America's sporting venues! I just wanted to share some good news with you, since so often we're quick to share the disappointments in today's Christianity . This Saturday and Sunday we attended the American Cheerleaders Association National Championships in Fort Worth. Both days they gave the most beautiful invocation dedicating the event to the Lord, asking for His protection over the athletes, Godly discernment on the part of the judges, and praying that Jesus' name would be glorified that day. The crowd nearing 7,000 gave a big "Amen" then followed with great applause. I was moved. Indeed there are still many Americans who love the Lord Jesus and are willing to give Him a great cheer in a "public" forum! So be encouraged *:).
