Thanks Jan. I did read all your verses. Everything you quoted has to do with judging between the rich and the poor and how people have a tendency to show favor towards those who are wealthy. Well, this is all so true, even in our own society, it is still being done. How many times does someone pull up to a modern church in a fancy car, get out dressed to the hilt and people admire them. Let someone pull up to the same church in a run-down 20 year old car all dented up, poorly dressed-- and no one pays much attention to them. Sad, but true.

Do not forget the scripture of I Cor. 2:15 which tells us that - "But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man." As Christians, we are supposed to be given spiritual discernment to be able to judge things and we are to ask for discernment. Remember that Jesus also said, "Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." (Matt 18:18).
