The United States of America is a 'Facist' state.  That doesn't sound very nice, does it?  But, it is true, and if we understand the meaning of the term 'facism' we can verify the truth of the opening statement.  Facism is where business and goverment are combined in the ruling activity.
 
Nazi Germany was a facist state because government absorbed business through force.  In our nation the mixture of government and business has happened differently.  Business has taken over the government.
 
When you realize that big businesses are literally runing our government, then you can understand why this terrorist (the one who was killed in the linked story) was carrying a weapon made by a company in the USA.  You might even understand why our president was involved in a multi-million dollar sale of weapons to the Saudis this week while he vactioned there.
 
Business doesn't care about, nor is it loyal to the values of the United States of America, nor those of its citizens.  Big business doesn't care that millions of the young people of this country are scattered around the globe defending those values.  Big business is selling the guns those boys and girls use too.
 
Big business cares only about money and power.  Big business spans the globe and stretches across all national boundaries.  This is not a new development.  The only thing new about it is its scope, and the scope is global.
 
You see, it's not George W. Bush who is selling the guns to the Saudis.  He is simply the servant of the company who makes and sells those guns.  Amazing itsn't it?  That the president of the most powerful country in the free world is running errands for big business.  It's called 'Facism'.
