Hello my friends:  I just wanted to wish you a happy new year.  I know it is not as happy as we want it because we are still here and not in heaven with our dear Jesus.  But each day that we live is a gift – a gift from God:  To enjoy His creation, to show Him our love and devotion to work with Him on His kingdom plan and honor Him before the world.  If He didn’t want and need for us to be here on earth now – we would be gone by now.

Our dear Bridegroom has been delayed.  But He will not delay forever – He is on His way and will come.  Let’s stay ready before Him – repentant if need be and joyful in our salvation.  He will heal our wounds and restore to us all the enemy has stolen and what the moth has eaten.  He will fill us and renew our strength!

Lets continue to wait and praise His name – even if the fig tree fails to bloom and no fruit be on the vine.  No matter what happens He is faithful.  So the rapture did not happen in 2007.  Things could be worse.  Imagine being left behind.  Or worse yet, in hell….  God forbid, right?  Yet we who believe are all saved by His grace and mercy.  If not for His grace, we would be lost like so many in the world today.  When He comes it will be freedom for us but judgment for the world.  Each day is a gift to try to reach one more soul for the sake of our precious Lord Jesus who suffered and died for every one of us – even the abortion doctors, the gays, democrats (just kidding - ha ha!!!!  By faith, I believe there are some saved democrats somewhere out there…)

Seriously though, we have suffered a let down but it is a new year and a new day!   And we are UNDENIABLY one day closer to the fateful rapture day in our Lord Jesus Christ.
