"Pineman--What day does Passover begin?"

To Pineman,

God' says that the evening (first) and the morning that follows are the first day, Gen 1:5. This shows us that a new day begins in the evening at dusk, between daylight and dark, and continues until the following evening at dusk.

It can't happen any other way since evening comes first when starting any new day, and the day stops at dusk the following evening at the beginning of another day. God is still going by His timing, not ours.

We know that Passover is on the 14th of Nisan, Lev. 23:5. So it had to start in the evening of the previous day, the 13th at dusk, right after the new day started and continued until the evening of the 14th at dusk. Then Unleavened Bread on the 15th, would begin at dusk in the evening of the 14th and continue to the evening of the 15th, and so on.

I have a free book on the 7 feasts of God  with a chart. If you are interested send me your address and I will mail it to you. It will also show you what day of the week Jesus was crucified, and when he arose.
