Hi all.  A friend of mine is having trouble coming to terms with the fact that the "dead know nothing" as in Ecc 9:5,6
Also Ps 146:4 " in that day his thoughts perish". Now I know the "spirit shall return unto God who gave it". I understand your soul can't be killed except by God in hell.
I believe that your soul dosent know anything of what goes on ,on the earth when he/she leaves here.Ecc 9:6 As Jesus says in Luke about the rich man wanting to tell his brothers about God , it was to late.
My friend believes that the dead some how communicate threw what she calls letter boxes and angles help deliver the messages or arrange the circumstances for us. She uses the verse in Heb 12:1  "we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses".   Now would I be right in saying the fact that the witnesses spoken of in ch.12 are the very same witnesses we have of faith in ch.11. Rahab ,Moses ,Samuel.
Dose anyone have any thing that I could add to this to show her the truth?.
