"Spring rapture in Searl's dream"

So many here are encouraging us to hang on.

Here is someone else who needs encouraging, whose "coming to the end of
things" is sobering.

My friend Searl, who has sometimes read here on Doves, and with whom
I've corresponded for several years, had a dream of the rapture over
twenty years ago.  At that time he had asked the Lord to explain the
Book of Revelation to him.  He did not believe in the rapture, although
he was a Christian.  The Lord spoke to him in a series of instructions
about Revelation, and this is the only time the Lord spoke to him
before or after  that series of instructions.

The Lord showed him in a dream the Gathering occurring in the spring,
"just when the buds are coming out, when it is still chilly, in the
early spring as it looks in Ohio."  In this dream, his wife Sue was
with him as they obeyed the call and started walking, then walking on
air, then moving too fast to call it walking.

Now Sue is dying.  Suddenly she, the breadwinner of their family, has a
cancerous tumor close to an artery in her brain.  Their wonderful
family consists of Searl, who is disabled too much to walk across the
street, their son John, who was disabled in a car accident, and John's
disabled wife Julie.  Sue has done all the "bookwork" in the family,
signing for John and Julie's disability checks, but she has now signed
these over to Searl.  She is on prednisone to reduce swelling and put
off the day when the tumor reaches the artery.

Searl is crying, for he says the Lord showed him Sue would be going
with him in what he calls the Gathering.
How can Sue not go too?   I told him Sue might die yet be resurrected
to go with him, but he has for over twenty years believed that his
dream would come true exactly as he saw it, that Sue would walk out of
the house with him at the Lord's call, in the early spring of some
year.

Please pray that this will be the year, very soon, that Sue and Searl
and all of us may walk out when the Lord calls.
