Obama seems cold and calculating; I do not know why people prefer him
to Senator Clinton. That he voted against the bill to save infants
still alive after abortion--I can believe it!I have been supporting Huckabee. To me he is the best truly pro-life
candidate. I think (hope) we will be out of here before the election
in November, and of course that would mean Gov. Huckabee would be gone
as well. But supporting him now does one thing for us....it gives hope
to Christians that there is someone running for president who is truly
pro-life, whom they can support. I guess there are a few others who
are pro-life as well, including Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter. I like
Hunter very much. Ron Paul I have questions on, such as reported
previous antipathy to Israel....but because he is pro-life, I would not
hesitate to vote for him. Thanks for raising this issue--well worth considering! John Edwards
would be a better Dem. candidate than Obama or Hillary. He claims that
Roe v. Wade is "settled law", as all the Dem. candidates do, but he is
a Christian and would not himself take part in abortion, he said. So
he's a little better than the others on that side. Maybe not enough
better, but closer to the mark. This election is tragic, again. So even being able to have a pro-life
candidate to support is consoling.Mariel
