I have studied Ellis Skofield's works for years and find NO inconsistencies in his theology or scholarship.  Having said that I will tell you that most Doves will reject everything Ellis has said since at least 1980 about the Muslims and end time events.  There are hundreds of scriptures which support Mr. Skofield but most believers will not take the time to delve into the study to research all the scriptures he presents.  This man is a godly, wise elderly man who has given his books freely.  The False Prophet reads like today's headlines.  Substitute the dispensational "buzz" words,
False prophet/  Mohammed vs Pope
Anti Christ/  Allah vs EURO president
Abomination of Desolation / Al Akqsa Mosque
300,000,000 man army/    Muslims vs Chinese
Two Witnesses/  Christians and Jews vs Elizyah and Enoch
 
It's all here.  It's happening now.  It will surprise most believers as they are looking for something much different.   This man Skolfield, is the only prophet today I know of.  He is 100 per cent accurate.
