America is the worlds largest grain exporter, by far. We feed much of the world.
Also note most of our farmers are Christians who will be leaving at the rapture.

The war of GOG-Magog (rev 2nd seal) will obliterate the Arab Gulf oil states and Persian gulf oil production.
This will require most of our corn and grain to be used for fuel causing famine in the rest of the world in Rev's 3rd seal, followed by the 4th seal, death and plague

note that China gets almost all their oil from the Persian gulf...

 Ethanol Pushing Up World Food Prices

DES MOINES, Iowa - The nation's fascination with ethanol is pushing food
prices upward and raising the specter of potential shortages, according
to a report by an environmental think tank.

The country's ethanol push is a "misguided effort to reduce its oil
insecurity," according to the Earth Policy Institute. The report
released last week suggests the ethanol boom will hit U.S. consumers in
their pocketbooks and cause even more far-reaching problems in the
developing world.
