Dear brother,I am not a Jehovah's witness (= Jesus deniers) and like you I do believe
in the divinity of the Lord Jesus, and that He is to be worshiped.Yes, I had heard about the JW claim that Michael and Jesus were the same
and did not accept it at the time. But more recently I studied it,
through Spirit and scripture (KJV). Yes Daniel 10:13 was part of that
study, but I am still waiting for fuller understanding from the Lord. I
do believe that a lot of other things about Michael that are interesting
- that he must be the same as the only Son of God, otherwise he has a
very blasphemous name since Michael = "He who is like God" and scripture
is particularly critical of a fallen angel who thought " I will be like
the most High" (Isaiah 14:14). But, I don't believe it really matters
or that it is to be debated extensively, except that it really
clarifies what Gabriel was talking about in the book of Daniel and
particularly why only Michael was helping Gabriel in a certain task
(restoration of the Temple in Jerusalem) - so whenever Gabriel appears
it is to announce the Temple, whether it is the (rebuilding of the)
physical temple or the "temple" (="body") of the Lord Jesus Christ. So
Gabriel fought with the (fallen angel) prince of Persia who initially
could determine what King Cyrus decreed, and when Gabriel suceeded with
Michael's help then only Cyrus decreed that the temple be rebuilt.
Gabriel would have this same battle later with the (fallen angel)
prince of Grecia (who must also be the same as the prince of Rome later,
since Rome was the ruling power when Jesus was born) about the 2nd
temple and then ultimately the Lord Jesus' birth.Yes, I also used to believe in the Trinity, just like church tradition
teaches. But also with prayerful study of the KJV, my understanding is
that there is one God the Father Almighty, then the one Lord Jesus
Christ (who is also called the Lord God, and as He says He is the
beginning of creation of God - Rev 3:14) who is the Son of the Father,
and then the Angels (including Gabriel) and then all Creation who were
created through the Lord Jesus. I don't however believe it really
matters if now we interchangeably refer to Jesus and Father, except if
you discuss with Jewish brethren who are very particular about it.1Cor 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all
things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all
things, and we by him.in Jesus' Name,
