"CLONED MEAT AND MILK COMING SOON-IF NOT ALREADY-TO A GROCERY STORE NEAR YOU!"

Hi,

I'm sure you all have read this weekend's news that the FDA has approved cloned meat and milk entering our food chain, without labeling as such.  In researching this I found that they, in fact, said it was safe in a 2003 article, ( http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/10/31/health/main581135.shtml) despite admitting low survival rates of clones due to birth defects and not knowing what the offspring of clones would produce health-wise!  I find this appauling!  This to me is just as Frankensteinish as the currently accepted practice of using "rendered" protein (meaning animals euthanized in animal shelters complete with flea collars and injected chemicals to kill them, road kill, etc) to be used in the manufacture of the dog food sold on our shelves!  Pet food consumers today MUST read the labels! However, now due to the FDA's recent news, consumers buying food to put on their own tables to serve to their families aren't even given the courtesy of LABELS of this new Frankenstein meat and milk!!!  Besides not being Kosher, it's also revolting.  When will man quit trying to play God?  What's next?--a combination of both "approved" processes--SOYLENT GREEN?

I found this website, where you can protest against this abomination...If we refuse to buy it, why would they make it?
Or is THAT the reason they refuse to label it?
