"timing of the rapture"

Dear Doves
I've been reading your letters for some time now, and it's always been full of enlightening information and fellowship. I would like to share my thoughts on the coming rapture.
The Lord says the feasts are shadows of things to come. He fullfilled the first 4 feasts. It is my belief that the Lord will come on some future feast of trumpets...Rosh Hashanah, which is a picture of the end time harvest. It's a beautiful way the feasts reveal the mysteries of God. The jewish wedding is another picture of how the Lord will return for His bride. I so look forward to that day, and I hope it is in 2008. The world is waxing colder and colder, just as the Bible said it would, thank God that we who are watching for His return will receive our reward...eternal life.

Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
1 Th 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

We that watch will not be caught unawares as the world will be. When Jesus returns for His bride (all the righteous..those made righteous in Him) will be made immortal in an instant, as Paul wrote, and the dead in Christ shall rise first, we will not precede them who "sleep".

I was hoping for a 2007 return, but obviously that has not happened yet, and so, now I'm hoping for a 2008 return of Christ, this fall during the feast of trumpets. It's interesting that our world changed in 2001 during the feast of trumpets on 9-11. It seemed to usher in a period of war that will lead up to a final war. It will be a full period of 7 years this year, and I find that significant. We must all pray for strength in the coming days and not allow ourselves to be deceived. Endure till the end is what Jesus urged us all to do, obey His commandments, love one another and endure till the end.
The past few years have been a great time of testing of my faith. I lost my dad, my mom, my daughter and her son all in 2006. It has truly been a great season of sorrow for me. Which gives the resurrection so much more meaning to me. I have had visions of my daughter's resurrection. That is our great hope in Christ...He is the resurrection and the Life. That is our reward...and our Hope through Him.

Sincerely,

Kate
