"Barack Hussein Obama"
Dear friends:
At this writing, as Hillary Clinton is waning, Barack Hussein Obama seems destined to win the nomination of the Democratic party and could very well be the next President of the United States. He is a very bright, charismatic, and articulate person, although he has little experience and is a far-left politician who supports the murder of unborn babies. For all these reasons (including abortion) he has become a media darling.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a President named Hussein? I cannot imagine our President with a Muslim name, especially such an infamous Muslim name and during the war with Islamic terror. I do not want my President with the same name as Saddam.
Have you wondered why the news media are making a big deal out of Mitt Romney's Mormon faith, and Mike Huckabee's Baptist faith, but seem to ignore the fact that Barack Hussein Obama is a member of a racist church, the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. The church's Web site is at http://www.tucc.org/about.htm.
In the church's stated 10-Point Principles, the name of Jesus Christ is never mentioned. However, principles described include "A congregation with a non-negotiable COMMITMENT TO AFRICA.... to LIBERATION.... to ECONOMIC PARITY."
Elsewhere, it says, "We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black.... We are an African people, and remain 'true to our native land,' the mother continent, the cradle of civilization." Our native land? What about America? Where is their true allegiance?
If any of the Republican candidates were members of such a church, it would be a political scandal, especially if they were white and declared a non-negotiable commitment to Europe.
There has also been concern expressed over Obama's Muslim father from Africa and childhood education including a Muslim school in Indonesia, but some media sources say there is no cause for concern. I wonder. All of one's experiences go to make up the whole person. I would prefer an American Christian father and a childhood education in United States schools, as bad as they are.
We may be overdue for a black or a woman President. I can think of several good possibilities I could easily back, such as Alan Keyes. Skin color or gender should make no difference. But core values, beliefs, political ideology, and a "non-negotiable commitment to America," not Africa or any other continent or country, are vital.
Where is the outrage over this? Will someone in the mainstream media please stand up?
