Dear friends:

In case you haven't noticed, Jesus did not come for us in 2007.  Many thought he would, and I had hoped.  But I had also hoped in 2006, 2005, 2004, and back many years.  I am now hoping for 2008.

I thank God for the many who hope with me, and for their shared insights.

What keeps me hoping, and what we know for sure, are all the prophetic signs of the end of the age.  We know we must be close.  How close we do not know, but many Bible scholars and students believe we are extremely close.

In about 1993-1994, this mailing list was founded on that hope.  By God's grace it will continue until that hope becomes reality.  "If we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently" (Romans 8:25, NIV).
