"12-year-old boy visits heaven!"

Dear friends:

Sid Roth’s recent TV program, “It’s Supernatural,” featured the testimony of Retha McPherson, the former "Ms. South Africa."

In a bad car accident on 06-19-04, two sons thrown from the vehicle.  Resulting injuries and the coma of her 12-year-old son, Aldo, brought this family closer to God.  The youngest gave a surprising account of how he was supernaturally spared serious injury.  The video (see below) contains reenactments of scenes from the accident.

God gave Aldo a visit to Heaven, downloaded the entire Bible into him, which he is able to recall as needed, showed him many of the saints of old and a golden bridge leading to a closed door behind which a marriage feast was occurring.  People outside were knocking, trying to get in, crying because the door was closed.  Jesus told Aldo the feast was for His Bride, but many were not ready (this was in 2004).

Jesus said that the reason His bride is not ready is because we keep ourselves busy with works instead of having a passionate, intimate relationship with Him.  He told Retha that He didn't come to start a religion.  He came to have relationships with each of us.  When we push to get into His presence, that is when we get miracles, etc.

Jesus explained to Retha that we are the Laodecean church spoken of in the book of Revelation -- the last church before He comes.  He explained that we should be "fire hot" in our relationship with Him.  Instead, many are "ice cold."  He said He is coming "very, very, very soon!"

One day while visiting at the UN, Retha saw a mosaic on the wall.  The Lord spoke to her and told her that "All the broken pieces of your life are nothing more than a beautiful mosaic of your future."  If we try to put the pieces of our broken lives back together by ourselves, we only get hurt.  But if we let God create the new mosaic of our lives, it will turn out beautiful.  We can be pitiful or powerful; broken or beautiful.  We have to surrender the broken pieces to God.

Jesus asked Retha to surrender her son to him.  So she did.  One of his eyes was injured because of the accident and he couldn't see out of it.  Retha told the Lord that she needed a miracle.  He replied, "No, you need faith."  She learned that His timing is different from ours but that what He starts, He will complete.  Aldo can now see out of that eye.
