Monica,I was touched by your dream of the river of life.I dont usually share this but it may prove a blessing to you or someone else who hears.
      about 35 or so years ago,seems like a blink of time.When I had just recently come into the fold of Christ I was taken by some local believers to a full gospel meeting in Utica NY.At this time I knew nothing of spiritual things,indeed I knew almost nothing about our faith.The Lord saved me in a dramatic way by my just picking up a bible,reading in one of Pauls letters I believe,as I read  I said within myself,this is the truth.So then I found myself at this meeting a short time after.Well as most meetings start with a small song service,so did this one.Well I was singing with my eyes closed and something very powerful happened to me,I was caught up into a mighty river that was rushing to the throne,it was also coming from the thone,a kind of mutual thing,Well I had the awareness that all the praise of the whole earth was in this river rushing to the throne.I knew the throne was up ahead and I was rushing like a million miles an hour towards it.The presence of God was so powerful and satisfying it is hard to describe.Now I want you to know that at this moment I knew nothing of the earth or the room or meeting I was in,it was forgotten.I do not know how long this lasted but I dont remember singing any of the songs they were singing.Then as amazingly as it started I just opened my eyes and found myself on earth and in this meeting,I was stunned to say the least.I wondered if everyone had experienced this so I looked around the room,I somehow knew no one else experinced what I had experienced.So we all sat down,I was just dumbfounded.Then the speaker came up to speak,his name was Gene Wilkens,somehow I still remember his name tho ive not seen him since.Well as he came to the front he looked around the room,then he fixed his gaze on me.He looked startled,then he studied the room again-looking at everyone,then he looked at me again.Then he addressed the crowd,he said "its amazing to look at someone and see Jesus on his face."Then he started speaking his message.he confirmed it but I didnt need the confirmation.It is only now I wonder if during that song service I was singing or what if any sounds I made during it when I was caught up to a wonderful place.It made a great impression on my inward parts and is an indelible experience with our Lord.
       The most important thing for us is to love Him,to know Him very intimately,Oh Lord anoint our eyes with eye salve that we may behold your glory,cover us oh gracious Lord that our nakedness might be covered.Draw us to yourself oh mighty God that we might reflect your glory.Amen
