I have been asked a couple of times recently to run for Attorney General in my home state.  I have prayed about it and here is my answer (thus far!):

The bottom line is that we each must be led of the Spirit.  If He says, "Go, do this (run for office again or whatever)," then I will go.  So far, as it has been for ten years, His word to me has been, "WAIT" ... and the waiting is oh so hard!  But, look in the Bible for the promises regarding waiting upon the Lord.
