Everything in life comes with instructions. Appliances come with instructions, so do cars, clothing, toys,board games and even food has its own cooking instructions, Whether its a 1,000 page manual, or a tiny label on  a pair of shorts, everything comes with instructions on how to use , operate, prepare or help to grow properly

Christian believers in Jesus Christ also come with an instruction manual. Its called the Bible, which is God's word on how we are to be raised, treated, cared for and behave. Many have a phrase for the Bible, calling it the - Basic Instruction before Leaving Earth . I have listed here seven of the most basic instructions the Bible has laid out for us Christians
 

1. Love God : in Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus said : " you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind."This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is for you to " love your neighbor as yourself " . Jesus made it very clear that there was nothing more important in this world than to love God with your whole heart

2. Must be Born Again : in John 3:3 we are told that " except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God" . This is a must. Jesus told Nicodemus that no matter how righteous he was, he could not see the kingdom of God unless he was Born again. We are Born again spiritually when we accept Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior

3. Be Holy : 1 Peter 1:15-16 tells us that " he hath called you holy, so be holy in all manner of conversation. It is written, Be ye holy, for I am holy "  Our Eternal Father in heaven is a Holy God and cannot allow sin in His presence. He calls us to that holy living as well, as He asks us to be holy as he Himself is

4. Pray Always : 1Thess 5:17 says for us to " pray without ceasing " . Prayer is the key to everything in our life. Prayer is the secret to the power of the Christian. Through prayer we can ask the Lord for healing, guidance, wisdom, knowledge, peace, joy and for help in any area of our lives. Prayer is how we fellowship with Jesus and tell Him we love Him

5. Read the Bible : 2 Timothy 2:15 reminds us " to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.  Paul tells us to study the Word of God. The Bible teaches us how to live, how to raise children, how to worship, pray and how to help others. Your faith in Jesus will grow as your knowledge of Him grows

6. Share the Gospel : Mark 16:15 requires us to " go unto all the world and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone"  . Jesus left us the Great Commission to take the salvation message to every people group throughout the whole world. We are to tell others how to obtain eternal life thru the King of Kings jesus Christ. We are to get out of our comfort zones, be bold and take risks to share the gospel message with our family, friends, neighbors and people in foreign countries. Will you Be The One to answer His Call and win lost souls to the Kingdom of God ?

7. Represent Jesus : 2 Cor 5:20 tells us that " we are Ambassadors for Jesus Christ "  After we are saved we remain here on earth as representatives of our Savior Jesus Christ. We  are to be Christ-like as possible in order to attract others to Christ
 

these seven " Basic Instructions before Leaving Earth " are your foundations from the Bible for Christian living. Follow them and you will put a big smile on the face of your Savior. Live your life for Jesus, and one day when you appear before Him at the Judgement Seat of Christ - you will hear Him say : " well done, thy good and faithful servant "  !!!
