"Job's Faith  Pt 2 : A Role in the Cosmos"

An ordinary person in the seen world, Job was called upon to endure a trial with cosmic consequences. A heavenly " Cosmic Wager " between God and satan was being battled out. And poor little Job's faith was being put to the ultimate test. He had no glimmer of light to guide him, no hint that the unseen heavenly world cared so much about him. Yet like a laboratory test animal, he was handpicked to settle one of the most important issues of humanity and to determine a small piece of the history of the universe

Is it absurd to believe that one human being, a tiny dot on the planet, can make such an eternal difference in the history of the universe ? Obviously God didn't think so. The Cosmic Wager was at its heart, a stark reenactment of God's original question in creation : Will the humans choose for or against me ?

From God's point of view, that has been the central question of history, beginning with Adam and continuing on through Job, and every man and woman who has ever lived. The Cosmic Wager in the Book of Job between God and satan called into question the whole human experiment. Satan denied that human beings are truly free. While God used the Job trial as a crucial test to show the free will of human freedom that He has given mankind

The most important battle as shown in Job, is not the suffering he went through. But will he, and we - trust God in our time of trial and adversity ? Job teaches us that at the moment when faith is hardest and least likely, its then that faith is most needed. Its when we are facing the fires of suffering and adversity that our strong faith in God is needed the most

And yes - little us, in this big wide world can make an eternal difference in the universe and in God's Kingdom by remaining strong in our faith during our times of trial and hardship. Amazing isn't it. Little you, can make such a big impact in the supernatural world stage and have a " Role in the Cosmos " , just by having your faith put to the ultimate " Cosmic Wager " . I know, many of you are thinking- hey this just isn't fair. We are like chess pieces in a heavenly game between God and satan. But remember - the outcome has eternal heavenly consequences

One day, you will appear at the Judgement Seat of Christ. And there you will be rewarded by Jesus Christ Himself for your strong faith and faithful service to Him in this earthly life. So hang in there if your going through a Job Experience right now. Stay strong in your faith. Your temporary suffering will gain for you eternal rewards that will last for all of eternity !!!
