The New Year of 2008 has arrived. Is everything in your life going as planned.  Or were you crusing along in life, and suddenly the road has taken a sharp turn. Perhaps life's road signs warned you. Perhaps it came by surprise. Has that sharp turn in the road turned into a trainwreck in your life. If so, life will never be the same for you again. You are now in a Life Transistion

Maybe you have just lost your job, had a death in your family, getting ready to lose your house and become homeless, have a severe illness, your marriage is ending, or one of many other trials & tribulations that has just derailed your life. So what do you do now. I have ten essential suggestions for you to follow in your time of transition :


1. Find refuge in Jesus Christ : go boldly in prayer to Him, go often, go just as you are

2. Ask Jesus questions-He answers : Jesus promises to reveal Himself when we diligently seek him ( Jer29:13 )

3. Be sensitive to your personal needs : commit to healthy eating, sleeping and exercising habits ( 1 Cor 3:16-17 )

4. Stay connected : it's easy to isolate yourself, instead reach out to others  ( 1 Cor 12:26 )

5. Keep laughing : look for humor in everyday situations ( Proverbs 15:13 )

6. Be wise : align your expectations with reality

7. Open your ears : listen for Jesus's heartbeat in the midst of your circumstances instead of resisting change

8. Be grateful : give thanks to Jesus for His many blessings each day ( Colossians 3:15 )

9. Seek guidance : seek out godly people who have gained wisdom from the same life transistion ( Proverbs 24.6 )

10. Read God's Word : the Bible is your handbook to life, go to it for encouragement and hope, you will find it there
                                          Don't be afraid : ( Isaiah 43:1-3 )         He has prepared your paths ( Ephesians 2:10 )
                                                      Nothing with separate you for His Love ( Ephesians 2:10 )



My friends in Christ, put your whole trust in our Savior Jesus Christ. Keep praying for Jesus to deliver you from your time of trial in your life transistion. Never give up, cause He won't give up on you. Jesus has wonderful plans for your life. In life's Brokenness comes God's greatest Blessings. Keep trusting in Him. The rainbow in your life is just a prayer away, so keep smiling !!!
