"These days and times"

I, too, have been concerned (not worried) as to what our preparation should be as we see prophecy being fulfilled.  I am excited about the Rapture but wonder how much longer.  I have prayed about preparing, how to prepare and how much.  I have not been led to store up much.

I do have a large bag of beans and one of rice.  I have canned vegetables and cans of broth to make into soup (stretches to feed more people).  We recently joined Express RX so that we can get 3 months supply of our prescriptions each time and I try to reorder at the earliest possible date.  I have some First Aid supplies and limited amounts of water.  I don't feel the need to lay in great stores of food, medicine, etc.

I wonder how I will manage to get to work if gas is rationed.  I work downtown on a preteen-teen unit and our kids are mentally retarded and mentally ill.  I believe these "babies" will be raptured with us.  I am concerned about continuing provision of care if services are disrupted.  We have electronically locking doors in many areas activated by a key.  It could be disastrous if they are not locked or if they are locked so that food and medication cannot be brought into the area.

There are so many who are not Christian in my world.  I remember as a child, I was surrounded by Christians.  I don't believe I knew anyone who did not profess to being a Christian.  Not so now.  And their eyes and ears are stopped.  They do not want to hear.  Three women I am concerned about, a Hindu, a Buddhist and a Muslim, would be ostracized by their families if they accept Christ and turn from their pagan religions.

I posted a website about Obama.  He is anti-Israel, or so it sounds.  If he is elected President (and he well might be elected), that would effectively remove the USA from giving Israel the full support (?) of the presidency.

All that to say this - we have a lot to be praying about.  So many of our number, even on this list, are sick and in need of healing.  Our churches need to be infused with the Holy Spirit and our people revived.  I don't want to be one of the luke warm ones and I don't want any of my friends and family to be either.  We have a lot of praying to do.
