Hi John,  I don't know if this is very important, so posting it is probably not necessary. Wanted to know if you have any ideas as to what this signified, if anything. On october 9, '07, I was on my porch, looking to see if the moon was out. Looking to the southeast, I noticed a pale arc of light on the lower horizon- then about two seconds later, a bright light, came down in front of it, looking like lightning, but a wide streak, not a thin, such as regular lightning. Then it stopped.  Again, the pale arc of light, then shortly thereafter, a wider streak of gold, liquid-like ,came down to the ground. This was atop a field-empty. I called my husband out to see this phenom- he got his binoculars and looked at it. He could see nothing else, just this "pouring" looking  like liquid gold, from NOTHING! Just out of the sky, in a wide "lightning " streak. We saw it 12 times, then it stopped, and nothing more. It was really spectacular, and I thought surely the next day there would be word of this in the papers, at least. Nothing at all. Like we were the only ones who saw it. I have no explanation for what it was. Just thought I would  tell you about it.  In Him, Carolyn
