"Babylon, Mormonism, antichrist"
I'm posting a few thought on the three subjects.
Babylon: Couldn't Babylon be more than one place?
If in John's revelation he saw grand or tall buildings, he might have referred
to all of it as Babylon. I believe that in one place in Revelations
he is taking about America, after seeing skyscrapers like in NYC.
However, another place he talks about the seven hills. I think this
is Rome. Today's terrorists would love to destroy both "Babylons".
Mormonism: I listened to some of Romney's speech
about Mormonism and it was was quite eloquent, but I noticed he didn't
go into details. After the speech, in the same newscast, I saw a
protester holding up a sign reading "www.Josephlied.com". I visited
the site and found that it was created by a former Mormon. He describes
many details of their faith, and how he came to believe that Joseph Smith,
the founder of Mormonism, lied. It is quite informative.
Antichrist: Of course we all wonder who the AC
is. A decade ago I was convinced it was Gorbachev, because or MANY
reasons, including a book that analyzed the "number of his name".
I am ridiculed about this now, because people ask, "Where is Gorbachev?"
If you Google "Gorbachev" you will see he is alive and well.
Recent photos show him talking to the Dali Lama (sp?) at a meeting in Rome.
Hum--- a well liked political world leader and a world spiritual leader----seems
like I've heard of a twosome like this somewhere! Also, Gorbachev
has been "politically dead" for a while. I wonder if he will come to life
again. If anyone wants more info. on how he fits prophecy, just post
a letter with Gorbachev in the subject line. I would have to dig
out my sources.
Endtime ministry is keeping their eye on someone coming
out of Europe (the revived Holy Roman Empire or EU). Of special interest
is Tony Blair, who is a main leader in current middle east politics, and
Javier (Havier) Solana (sp?) of Spain.
