"3 forty-two months phases"

John & Doves:

I know that many eschatologists postulate that the Tribulation will immediately follow the Rapture.  I also know that there are others who say that there can be a gap between the Rapture and the start of the Tribulation.

For this model let’s say that the dead rise this year at First Fruits – April 8, 2007.  Forty inclusive days later, on Ascension Thursday – May 17, 2007, we ascend into the Rapture.  The next day of significance is Pentecost Sunday – May 27, 2007.

Some would say that this is the start date of the Tribulation when the AC signs the covenant of death with Israel.  What is interesting about this scenario is that exactly 2,520 days later is First Fruits – April 20, 2014.  The mid-point would be November 7, 2010.

Now, using “Signs of the End”  as a reference the start date of the Tribulation is November 8, 2010 – just one day after the mid-point of scenario 1.  The mid-point of scenario 2 is First Fruits – April 20, 2014 – the end date of scenario 1.  In scenario 2 the end of the Tribulation is Yom Kippur – October 30, 2017.

In scenario 2 we have 1,260 inclusive days for the first half as well as 1,260 inclusive days for the second half with First Fruits being the pivot. Scenario 1’s logic does not use inclusive days in order to arrive at the 2,520 days.
