"Update on Richard... READ THIS SECOND..."

Hi again, precious Doves!

First of all, let me preface this with the fact that even though I couldn’t bear going to see Richard with his breathing tube in (which I think I mentioned in my first posting for today), I prayed and prayed, and the Lord helped me to go in and be with him.  Linda was going to go in by herself, just so he’d know there was someone there who’s familiar to him.  They had him totally knocked out, due to the need for him not to panic because of the breathing tube they still have him on.  I kissed his hand and told him “I love you, sweetheart”, and Linda held his other hand and prayed for healing, while being filled in her hand with the Spirit.

I called Richard’s nurse this morning to see how he’s doing today.  His cardiac output is much better today, his blood pressure is much better, his respiration is not labored today (in the low 20’s now, where it HAD been in the 40’s, which is way too high), he seems much more relaxed, and he is more alert today, more so than he has been since his surgery last Saturday.  I don’t KNOW this to be a fact, but I firmly believe that even though he was knocked out the whole time I was there, and sleeping peacefully, he still knew I was there and was talking to him.  You know how close soulmates are (the two shall become ONE FLESH)?  When he’s sound asleep at home, he can tell me what time I got up and where I am in the house at any given time.

And nurse after nurse that I’ve come to know and love have been praying for us both, as well as all sorts of others I’ve run into!  In fact, I just called to make payment on one of our credit cards via telephone, and the customer service rep I spoke to said he’d PRAY for Richard’s healing when he goes to church tonight!!!  What are the odds except with God???  And we’ve BOTH had numerous chances to witness of His love and His compassion over the 17 days he’s been in the hospital… we’ve witnessed to doctors, nurses, patients, me to visitors in the waiting rooms, cleaning crews, cafeteria workers, and everyone else we run into at the hospital, and THAT part has been wonderful!!!  I’ve also shared my site and 5 Doves to multiple people while there.

All praise, honor and glory to El Shaddai!  As soon as Richard’s back home, I will be doing my updates again every day.  Until then, bear with me.

Love you all in Him!

Peggy
