Hi, precious Doves!

Bear with me if I seem “down”, but my heart is really heavy and my tears won’t seem to stop flowing.  I spoke with Richard’s SICU nurse for today, Jim, several times.  He says that there’s not a whole lot of change.  His fever keeps going up and down (it was 102, and his regular temp is lower than normal, usually 97.9).  They’ve done cultures, as I stated in my current updates on the site, but have not received the results back yet.  They keep him pretty much knocked out with drugs so that he doesn’t stress about the breathing tube, which they are going to SLOWLY try to wean him from.  This is the part that most bothers me.  If they could remove that, I could talk to him via telephone and in person, and would be calmed from that.  But I understand that they don’t want to remove it too rapidly.  I’m really, really hurting inside.  If anyone can give me a call, write me here and I will give you my cell phone number.  I could really use the uplifting right now.  Please pray the Lord will quickly heal his body of the fever, the breathing problems, and anything else that may be wrong.

Linda & I were planning to spend tonight at my house, and I was going to put an update on the site, but I don’t want to spend the night there without him.
