Russia: We sold air defense missile systems to Iran
Russia’s Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov said Tuesday that Russia has sold Tor-M1 air defense missile systems to Iran . It was the first high-level confirmation that such a sale took place.“We sent Tor-M1 missiles to Iran in accordance with the contract,” Ivanov told reporters. EXCERPT:

Maariv International's website is reporting an earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale shook the whole country of Israel on 7-7-04. Maariv's article on the quake states the quake's epicenter was in the Jordan Rift Valley, but it was also felt in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Ashdod, Be'er Sheva, and other cities.

Interestingly, the earthquake struck on the same day the Quartet of Russia, the European Union, the United States, and the United Nations met with Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qureia, telling Qurei the Quartet is "sick and tired" of "empty promises" coming from the Palestinians, as reported by WorldNetDaily.
