Highly improbable that Jesus' birthday is Tishrei 1. Luke 1:26 tells us it was the sixth month when Gabriel came Mary and annonced she would conceive by the Holy Spirit the baby Jesus.

 

And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

 

Adar is the sixth month and since the human gestation period is nine months, that would put Jesus' birth in either Kislev or Tevet. November/December. As you stated;
