"The Harvest Is In!"

Dear Friends,

I didn't want to wake up this morning!  Last night, I
had the most vivid, colorful dream I have had in a
very long time.  I woke up in the most beautiful
bedroom I've ever seen.  It was exactly what I would
have designed for myself if I had the money and time.
The floor was completely made of wood.  Stenciled all
over the tongue and groove were beautiful
pictures...even my bed was made of this same wood and
pattern.  It was beyond gorgeous.  I walked around
admiring everything in it and decided to see what else
was changed.

I came downstairs and many of my friends and
co-workers were very busy in my kitchen....cooking.  I
saw them shucking all of these beautiful golden yellow
ears of corn.  There weren't enough pots in my
kitchen!  I was also worried that my kitchen wasn't
clean enough, but it was as if maids had come during
the night as it was spotless.

My friends were cooking on every countertop...even on
my washer and dryer, little hot plates were set up to
boil the water to cook that beautiful, spotless corn.
I asked what was going on.  It was clear that they
were preparing for something very big.  I gathered
from the way that they were talking, that it was a
party of some kind.... A HUGE ONE!

When they wouldn't talk to me I paused and asked
myself the question.....The answer jumped into my
mind, "THE HARVEST IS IN!"  I began to cry and shout
and cry some more. I fell to my knees and said, "Lord,
please find me worthy."  I couldn't stop repeating
that phrase.

I walked into my living room and it had all changed.
Instead of my living room, there was this GIGANTIC
stage/floor.  It was contemporary in style, plushly
carpeted and my boss was arranging things there.
There was some kind of speaker (warm up act, it
seemed) preparing to take the stage.  Many people were
moving about "getting ready".  I asked what was going
on in here.  It was clear that this was indeed my
home....BUT NOW IT WAS A MANSION!  I'd always wanted
to have my friends over to entertain them, but now
they were in my home getting ready to entertain for
me.

I kept asking "When?" But no one would meet my gaze or
speak with me.  They were just all too busy GETTING
READY!

So my friends, was it only a dream?  I don't know.
But I do know that every day brings us closer to being
with Our Lord and Savior.  Are you ready?  Will He
find you worthy?  I pray He finds me so.

God bless you all.   Looking up!

Maranatha,

Melissa
