"Notes on Zecharia chapter 5"

Notes on Zecharia chapter 5

Zec 5:5 Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto
me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.

- - Note, an "angel" is an "angel" in this chapter, no need to guess
that the stork-like entities are angels. Besides, angels have no wings
in the Bible - cheribum and the living creatures that have wings are
not "angels".

Zec 5:6 And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that
goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all
the earth.

- - "Ephah" mentioned four times here. Ephah is listed as one of
Katura's sons in Genesis, the name of Caleb's concubine in 1Ch 2:46,
and it is also given as a measure for grain weight that seems to have
been often misrepresented to cheat people in their dealings (Amos 8:5).
Given Zecharia 5:1-4, the idea could be that here is a standard being
sent forth to basically cheat people. Reminds me of the governments
setting international money "standards" that are no standards at all,
they just print as much as they want and so their dishonest houses of
inflation and lying are a curse to their houses/countries (verse 4).

Zec 5:7 And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is
a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.

- -  The talent of lead would be a metal weight standard, but not a good
one (it isn't gold or silver). The woman probably represents something
like a country or system.  Compare Matthew 13:33 "The kingdom of heaven
is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of
meal, till the whole was leavened." Not sure what the connection would
be.

Zec 5:8 And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst
of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.

- - Guess: Could be government dishonesty in printing money without any
backing leads to wild inflation which wipes out a country/world
currency system relying on a certain money system (dollar crash??).

Zec 5:9 Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came
out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like
the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth
and the heaven.

- - These would be two different women, and so we have three (In Matthew
13:33 - [nice Masonic numbers!!] - there are three measures). Maybe
there is a "currency basket" of new money system that basically comes
in to rescue the world, that is the dollar crashes but the EU/Vatican
and Russia/Asia step in to lift everybody back to solvency. "between
earth and the heaven" is interesting phrase, reminds me of where the
mule left Absolom right before he got killed in 2 Sam 18:9. Absolom is
a type of the antichrist.

Zec 5:10 Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these
bear the ephah?

- - See, "angels" are "angels" here: take it literally where it is
literal, not otherwise.

Zec 5:11 And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of
Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.

- -  In the Pensacola Air Museum an interesting display of the moon
landing shows a moonview of earth with Iraq on the very top of the
globe (where the north pole normally is shown), and the sun just rising
there, making the light appear to be shining out over Babylon to the
moon. The audio says "Neil Armstrong, a 33 year old man, at 33 minuets
pass the hour, has landed on the 33 parallel of the moon, and..." etc.
All this "33" stuff. I think there all a bunch of Masons. Wierd.
Anyhow, I think the New World order and the Freemasons are all
stary-eyed about building something fantastic in Babylon, and that's
probably got a lot to do with the USA's involvment in Iraq right now. I
think this verse suggests the same thing, some sort of HQ for the new
world monetary system is coming in Bagdad.

(I remember when Dave Hunt said Chuck Misler was wrong to take this
chapter literal - but now we can see that literal fulfillment is
probably coming).

Interesting "al quida" is Arabic for "the base."
