Dear John: My father helped liberate the Jews from the death camps of World War 2. He saw first hand how the Jews suffered in the death camps.Who knew that after World War 2 the U.N. would Vote to "Partition the Land" giving Israel  a place to call home. I believe the U.N. vote in 1947 began the 'final countdown' to the rapture. Jesus said; that the last generation would see it ALL.One generation at the time of the end would witness ALL events related to the end of this age. A 'span of time' of a generation has become a question of debate, not to labor the point here about how 'many years' is a span of time for a generation, but to show from 1947 to 2017 would certainly cover a life span. I believe that Daniel was given a span of time '70 years' in which time his people would leave Babylon, return to their land. I believe this 'span of time' was a "type or shadow" of things to come. This time of '70 years' was written for our admonition [too whom live at the end of th is age]. Now, from the year 1947 to 2017 is 70 years. I believe that after 70 years the Jews will leave the customs of the heathen nations, Jesus Christ will be their light and they will surely see. The 6 day war in the spring of 1967 to the spring of 2007 is 40 years, this also fits within the time frame of a last generation. Ye shall have tribulation 10 day's I believe is 10 years,this will be a time of great distress. The last 7 of the  those 10 years is the great tribulation, but out of the ashes of the great tribulation will come Jesus Christ, he will never leave them anymore. My feeling is that the rapture will happen in June 2007. The wise virgins will understand the times, because their lamps are full of oil. Louis.
