Sgt. Michael New has been caught in a legal battle determining if an American soldier will fight for his own country or for the UN or any other entity outside the US Constitution. Michael's main premise is that if a soldier accepts command from any other body than his own country's military, then eventually, that soldier may wind up being a force within his own country against its own citizenry.

While all of us know this is true and most inevitable, the legal system has used every means possible to keep the
judgement from coming to pass. Michael and his family ( parents Daniel and Mrs. New, Michael's wife, etc. ) need our prayers for endurance in this 11 and 1/2 year battle; they need encouragement from us by letters, cards and
e-mails; and they need financial support for the ongoing legal process and all that pertains to it.

Michaels' birthday is February 17th. May he hear from many Americans that we are out here and that we care and that we have not forgotten him, nor his righteous cause.

It is only right that I stop from time to time and express our gratitude to a Divine Providence, Who has sustained us through this entire legal battle.  He obviously works through thousands of individual Americans, who write small checks and then follow those up with letters to their editors, to congressmen, and then with
prayers for our ability to stay in this fight.  This never fails to humble us, and to amaze us, at the same time."
