Your words of advise, Gary, match up with Scripture for we are clearly told that God will send a great warning before the great and notable Day of the Lord. Below are the Scripture verses.
The two in brackets are for what we feel will follow closely on the heels of the sun and moon's phenomenon.

It is also noteworthy to realize that these verses tell us that anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. That is very reassuring for those who may have had a "wait and see" attitude.

Besides all of the Scripture verses above, Gary's warning is backed up by two more Scripture verses.

In 1 Thessalonians 5:20 it tells us to heed warnings and to align them with Scripture.

In Amos 3:7 we are told that God does not take action until He first reveals to His servants what is about to take place.

This certainly seems to be the year of weird weather and phenomenon, which also are warnings.

Only those with ears to hear will heed the warnings.
