What jumped out at me are the five 490-year biblical cycles that began in 444 BC and end in AD 2007 .

Michael, who is a very astute Bible student, is careful not to form any conclusions from this and does not want to speculate.  He tells me, "The current 490-year cycle ends in 2007, but I have no knowledge or special understanding as to what it means, if anything."

Me neither.  Nevertheless, in view of the many other things we do know, I find it intriguing.

Michael says, "We are indeed living in “the time of the end” since many are running to and fro, and knowledge is rapidly increasing (Daniel 12:4).  Maranatha!"

Yes, maranatha indeed!
