"Praying for Jesus's Blessings"
Whether we like it or not, asking Jesus for blessings
is the rule of His Kingdom. Jesus delights in our asking because we are
his children. Hebrews 4:16 says " let us then approach the throne of grace
with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us
in our time of need "
His heart leaps for joy when we come asking. This kind
of prayer keeps drawing us back into the dependency of the parent-child
relationship with Jesus Christ. It is okay to request Jesus's blessings
for ourselves. In fact, it is an insult to Jesus not to come asking Him
for your needs and desires. You pay Jesus a compliment by asking great
things of Him
Jesus said to His disciples in prayer : " ask and it
will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be
opened to you. For everyone who asks -receives, he who seeks--finds, and
to him who knocks the door will be opened". Jesus is not bothered by our
asking, even when we come to him with the smallest details of our lives
Start asking today for Jesus to bless your life. In doing
so, you can be a blessing to others. Make a list of at least three good
things that you know your loving heavenly Father really wants you to have.
Then persistently ask for them with complete confidence that Jesus is pleased
with your asking and is most eager to answer you
Start this new year of 2007 with daily prayer to your
Savior Jesus Christ. Asking Him for what you need in your life. Don't be
shy in asking. But most of all, ask Him for wisdom on what he wants you
do be doing for His Kingdom. How does Jesus want you to serve Him this
year. How can you make an eternal difference for the Kingdom of God. If
you ask Him, he will answer !!!
keep smiling cause Jesus loves you,
Gary
