Hi John and Doves.Jan. I'm sure a lot of people on 5 doves can help you, but it depends on
their view of end times as to whether it will be a help or a hindrance. Some time ago, I became thoroughly dissatisfied with the view that the Gog and
Magog war preceeded the Tribulation, because none of what I was reading made
any sense. To support this view there were many "constructions" added to the
overall picture which I felt could not be supported by scripture, e.g. a seven
year peace covenant, a seven year tribulation, a rebuilt Temple, a revived
Roman Empire, etc.I think it is like the "whispering game" where people whisper a message in the
ear of their neighbour whilst standing in a large circle - by the time the
message arrives back at the beginning, it bears no resemblance at all to what
was originally said!As a result I did a thorough study of the relevant passages in the Bible, and
concluded that the Gog and Magog war comes at the end of the 1,000 years
Millenial Kingdom period, exactly as stated in Revelation 20:7-10, but that
the description of what happens is found in Ezekiel 38 and 39. Gog and Magog
are destroyed by fire from God out of heaven. This attempt to destroy
the "Camp of the Saints" and the "Beloved City" is Satan's last effort at
thwarting the plans of God. Satan is afterwards cast into the lake of fire
and brimstone, where he joins the Beast and the False Prophet (they had been
put there prior to the 1,000 year Millenial Kingdom); where they are tormented
for ever and ever.I have put my findings into a booklet, and you may find it at the link below -
God Bless. EAR
