"re: almonds"
To: Ellen, Tony and Wade,,,re: almonds
Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement...
AND,,,,is it not to this very day, a tradition to give
ALMONDS as
a wedding favor? And that,,,,the "Jordan" almond,
this tradition
spreading from the middle east to the whole world: quote:
"Middle East
In the countries of the Middle East, wedding favors are
generally candy-coated almonds. These party favors are given in cloth mesh
bags or silver tins. Each guest gets five almonds which represent health,
wealth, happiness, fertility and longevity."
note the five almonds: five, the number of the
bride....
at the very least, this is a "sweet" token for us all,
to "hasten, and awaken" the bride, who awaits the great shout "BEHOLD"
love to all,,,,,,,,,,,,your sister, Arlene
