   Need Prayer ASAP

Hi Loved Ones,

Our home is in danger of flooding, and we request your prayers now, and
today. I am caked in mud and very wet as I pull back and take the time to
send this email.

We have shored up a few feet of our driveway, to keep it from pouring
downhill into our buildings. We saved it by less than 1/8 inch from
pouring in. But it is very temporary. We have enough dirt to raise our
driveway birm by about 3 inches.

Please pray that the Lord hold the rains back. It is just pouring out
there and we have lived here for 30 years and never had our street flooded
like this. Two weeks ago I heard "bottle neck" and have been praying that
the Lord open the channels for the waters to flow. I thought briefly of
flooding in the rivers in our area and have been praying that the Lord open
up the channels so that waters can flow without damage to property. I
alterted our church intercessors of that and we have been praying. But I
never thought of storm sewers and streets.

At least right now this is not a river problem but it is very close to
connecting to the river a couple houses from us. And they are surrounded
in water. Severel streets in our area are flooding due to something
plugging the lines. They have been working all day to try to find the
problems and clean them out.

Please also pray that the bottleneck be broken and the channels made clear
without damage to people's properties. Please pray that our home is saved
and no damage occur. Please pray for Wayne's health and my own. We simply
dont have the capacity to shovel dirt and move stuff. Most of all, please
pray that the rain cycle be broken to give the area relief. We live in
Oregon.
